What’s new in ORelay

What changed and the day it reached you: the service and the web viewer the day they were updated, the agent the day its installers went on the download page, the phone apps the day a build reached its store. Everything here is in the product; what each part does is on the product page.

  1. Send feedback

    • Send feedback from the web viewer’s account menu, or at viewer.orelay.io/feedback without signing in: a bug, an idea or a question, filed for us to read. Your address goes with it only if you say so.
  2. One place for an organization, and who sees which computers

    • The Organization area: Overview, Members, Enrolment keys, Deploy to your fleet, Company sign-in and Plan and billing in one place with its own menu, for owners and admins.
    • The computer page is in tabs: Overview, Remote, Software, Tasks, Access, Activity and Settings. A remote desktop, a terminal or a download carries on while you look at another tab.
    • Support and viewers now use either every computer in the organization, now and later, or only the computers they are given. Each person sees only those: in the list, in the alerts and in the live feed.
    • Give a member many computers, or whole groups, at once; take them away the same way; and hand a member’s computers to another member or to the organization when they leave.
    • The owner can hand the organization to another member from the Overview.
    • A computer shared with you from another organization updates live on your dashboard.
    • Only an organization’s owners and admins change its alert rules and notification channels.
    • Every page updates live, and the header fits a phone.
    • The sign-in box takes a username as well as an e-mail address.
  3. Enrolment keys and Deploy to your fleet

    • Enrolment keys, on Pro and above: one key adds many computers from your deployment tool, each with its own certificate and owned by the organization. A key can let computers straight in or hold them for approval; owners and admins hear by mail and push when computers are waiting.
    • Deploy to your fleet: the install script for Intune, Configuration Manager, Group Policy, Jamf Pro, Kandji, Ansible and other tools, made in the browser with your key, with the steps for each.
    • Help pages on orelay.io: deploying to many computers, what your network must allow, and Ctrl+Alt+Del at a locked Windows computer.
    • A computer nobody owns, such as one an enrolment key added, sends its alerts to the organization’s owners and admins.
    • Remote desktop from a Mac: Control+click is a right click.
    • The phone apps offer Forgot your password even where the server asks for a CAPTCHA.
  4. Sign-up is open

    • Anyone can sign up: an e-mail address and a password, Personal or Business, and the link in the mail signs you in. Or sign up with Google.
    • Free for up to 5 computers, with no time limit; Pro and MSP can be chosen on the way in and paid for after the first sign-in.
    • The web viewer keeps you signed in between visits, and switching organization in one tab is followed by the others.
    • Invite people by e-mail; the invitation says which computers they will use.
    • A new organization starts with an e-mail channel, a push channel, “Disk over 90%” on every computer and “Computer offline” for servers. Owners and admins hear when a computer is added.
    • First run: the installer for your computer, a join code ready, and the computer arriving in the list as it joins.
    • Create an organization of your own, or leave one; a member removed from an organization loses their access to its computers at once.
    • Files: Windows paths, downloads, send a file from your phone to a computer, and the files kept in ORelay.
    • The computer page shows only the controls you may use, and works at phone width; alerts, the audit log and sharing show names rather than ids.
    • Sleep and hibernate as power actions; groups for admins; search a computer’s software list.
    • Cloud vault: the recovery code is shown at set-up, and a new one can be made.
    • Active Directory reads only: the unlock, enable, disable and password-reset actions were removed.
  5. Agent 0.1.129

    • Signed installers on the download page: a Windows MSI, a universal Mac package, and Debian and RPM packages for Linux.
    • The agent reports its domain and whether it is a domain controller, so Active Directory works again through a writable domain controller.
    • The dashboard’s Recent Activity reads the same log the Activity page does.

The page starts in October 2026, when sign-up opened. ORelay was built through 2026 before that; the product page describes everything it does today.
